The Musical Offering
This Junior Music On Madison features Musical Offering students in music for mixed winds, strings and piano. The program includes JS Bach's Keyboard Concerto in F Minor, an original composition by Jonathan Hauser and Mozart's Piano Concerto in C Major, KV 415. Brevard College welcomes the White-Smith/Ferguson Duo to its popular First Monday Series in a program which includes the music of Ulysses Kaye, David Amram, Harold Genzmer and George Onslow. Free and open to the public.
Rick partners with two of his favorite people for his annual Birthday Bash concert. A collaborative performance of my Equity Suite for concert band involving students from Chute Middle School social studies, advanced art and honors band classes. Social studies and art students will create a series of brief performance pieces and accompanying art work exploring various equity-related issues – all interwoven into the music.
